In the wake of the release of their brand-new single Get Better, and ahead of their sold-out London headline show next week, Press Club stopped by the famous Maida Vale studios to record a live session for Dan P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show during the band’s first stop in the UK on their tour across Europe

On release Get Better was made “Rockest Record”, and in this new session BBC recording engineers and producers have perfectly captured the band performing songs from their debut Late Teens. The session will be broadcast on Dan P Carter’s BBC Radio 1 Rock Show at 9PM this coming Sunday (28th April).

Having sold-out their forthcoming debut London headline show well in advance, the indie-punk group from Melbourne, Australia, have today announced a return to London in September, to headline the Borderline on 5th September, which follows their already-announced appearances at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals. Tickets are on sale now.

Press Club will also make a recently-announced stop off in Kingston on 7th May, to play The Fighting Cocks in association with Banquet Records.

Talking about the tour and the Maida Vale session, bassist Iain MacRae comments: “You never expect to travel 17,000km across the world and have anyone in the audience. Let alone play sold out shows to the most beautiful crowds. Europe has totally blown my mind so far. Stepping foot in the BBC Studios at Maida Vale was reverential. We’re a mere Pluto in comparison to the monoliths that have done live sessions with the BBC there before but to be on the fringes of the same solar system feels pretty nice.”
