Hosted by female industry leaders and rising talent, Abbey Road Equalise International Women’s Day Festival is a week of free online talks, mentor sessions and masterclasses in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2021 on Monday March the 8th.

Equalise is a new programme from Abbey Road Studios, created to inspire, empower and support diversity and under-represented communities in music. Celebrating women in the music industry and helping those interested in working in it their first initiative is the festival celebrating International Women’s Day 2021.

Hear from some of the music industry’s leading women and most exciting rising female talent about how they got started and their essential tips for success. The Abbey Road Equalise IWD Festival will also provide the opportunity to book free one-to-one mentoring sessions from a wide range of women who have carved a career in music beyond the recording studio and stage

Mentoring Sessions

Abbey Road has assembled a cast of women who have forged a career within the music industry, so you can explore some of the different roles that exist and benefit from 121 mentoring to help you get started.

From artist management, PR and the role of a live agent, to marketing, promotions, artist relations, events and running a label and studio, they are joined by friends from 0207 Def Jam, Decca, Mother Artists, Motown UK, Murray Chalmers PR, Polydor and Universal Music.
