ALTA AUDIO ADAM

The Alta Audio Adam speaker features a frequency response of 20Hz to 47kHz, sensitivity rated at 91.5 dB / 2.83 Volts @ 1Meter, and an impedance of 4 ohms. Recommended power handling is 50 – 300 watts per channel. Adam is available in piano black, rosewood or beech finishes.

DRIVERS

Alta Audio’s 5.75” neodymium magnet ribbon tweeter is responsible for high- fast transient response, while its aluminium pole increases dispersion. Rounding out the driver complement is an 8.75” woofer whose tuning parameters are coupled to the cabinet design.

EXTENDED TRANSMISSION LINE

The cabinet features XTL (Extended Line Transmission). Extended Transmission Line is Alta Audio’s proprietary technology that applies sonic geometry to tune speaker cabinets as if they are musical instruments. The distinctive curvature of the Adam, which stands 41” H x 15” W at the bottom x 8 1/2” W at the top x 18” D at the bottom x 14” D at the top, and its three-way design creates, says Alta Audio “a natural and neutral listening experience”.
