AVM’s latest Compact Streaming CD Receiver, the INSPIRATION CS 2.2 4T will be unveiled by PMC UK Distribution at Festival of Sound in September. Based on the CS 2.2, the enhanced CS 2.2 4T now features the latest Bluetooth 4.2 standard, with a dedicated second antenna on the rear of the unit.

Upgrades to the digital section of the CS 2.2 4T include the use of the latest Wolfson Digital to Analogue converter, to bring improvements to all connected digital sources. Connections may be made via the coaxial, optical and USB sockets and the new Bluetooth facility.

As an all-in-one device, the CS 2.2 4T also features three analogue RCA inputs and a built-in phono stage. The upgraded phono input can now easily be switched between MM and MC via the display. And, the signal paths of the phono stage have been reduced to an absolute minimum. Other functions include a FM RDS tuner and internet radio. Qobuz and Tidal streaming services are built in, which can be controlled via the iOS and Android apps and internet connectivity can be wired or wireless. Power is 2 x 165 watts into 4 ohms and headphones can be connected with the front panel socket.The 350 x 240 x 95mm INSPIRATION CS 2.2 4T weighs 9kg and is finished in a special edition 4T Titanium finish.
