BURMESTER 232 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER LAUNCHES WITH MODULAR DESIGN AND ADVANCED CONNECTIVITY

After a long period of development and refinement, High End German HiFi brand Burmester has released the long awaited Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifier.

The Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifieris the latest addition to its Classic Line. Designed to offer flexibility, advanced connectivity, and high-fidelity performance, the 232 integrates cutting-edge features while maintaining Burmester’s signature sound quality.

BURMESTER 232 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER

The Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifier is built with a modular architecture, allowing users to configure it according to their needs. Two optional modules enhance its functionality: a DAC module for high-resolution digital playback and a phono module optimised for moving coil (MC) cartridges.

CONNECTIVITY AND STREAMING

The amplifier supports Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay, with over-the-air updates planned to add Roon Ready functionality, USB playback, and Internet Radio Search. It also features three USB ports and an HDMI ARC interface, enabling seamless integration with various digital sources.

BURMESTER 232 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER HAPTIC CONTROL AND DISPLAY SYSTEM

A standout feature of the Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifier is the HaptiControl rotary knob, a multi-functional control element providing precise, adaptive feedback. The amplifier’s high-resolution mirrored glass display blends into the design when in standby mode while maintaining excellent readability. THERMAL OPTIMISATION FOR LONGEVITY

Burmester has introduced a new radial heatsink design in the 232, improving heat dissipation and maintaining optimal transistor performance. This leads to reduced internal temperatures, increasing component lifespan and ensuring consistent audio performance without overheating.

PROPRIETARY SOFTWARE AND DAC TECHNOLOGY

Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, Burmester has developed custom software for the 232 Integrated Amplifier. The new DAC module supports up to 768 kHz/32-bit resolution, enabling highly detailed and natural sound reproduction with minimal distortion.

USER-FRIENDLY CONTROL WITH THE BURMESTER CONDUCT APP

The Burmester Conduct App for iOS and Android allows intuitive remote control of the amplifier, offering features such as volume adjustment, source switching, and input customisation. Users can also operate the 232 via its touch display and remote control.

BURMESTER CUSTOMER PORTAL FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES

With the launch of the Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifier, the brand has introduced a customer portal (ownersclub.burmester.de) to provide detailed device insights, software updates, and product information.

The Burmester 232 Integrated Amplifier is available now, with pricing depending on the selected configuration, ranging from £15,500 to £23,200 for the fully loaded model in the UK with USA prices from $21,600 to $34,900.
