Campfire Audio have launched Solaris, a new earphone that they say they have created by “mixing from our palate of audio technologies”.  Solaris is a hybrid design, blending balanced armature performance with the physicality of dynamic drivers.

Two custom balanced armature tweeters are paired with their Tune Acoustic Expansion Chamber™ (T.A.E.C.) with larger single rear-ported balanced armature driver. A specially tuned version of Campfire’s 10mm A.D.L.C. dynamic driver, optimised with their Polarity Tuned Chamber™, is also used.

The Solaris also feature a 24K Gold Plated Lid, durable PVD finished body with Beryllium / Copper MMCX Connections, an amorphous diamond like carbon (A.D.L.C.) diaphragm and a stainless-steel spout. Th cable supplied is silver plated copper super Litz cable. They are priced at $1,499 in the USA.
