Benefitting from the latest in DALI’s new technologies and innovations, the Opticon MK2 is a six model strong series with a wide selection of speakers to suit every room.

In the DALI Opticon MK2 product range you will find the following models, 1, 2, 6, 8, LCR and VOKAL.  There is a  new aesthetic look in three new finishes Satin Black, Satin White and Tobacco Oak.

Tweeter Upgrade

The series includes technology upgrades such as a larger 29 mm soft dome tweeter surrounded by a solid die-cast aluminium faceplate, which has been derived from the Callisto C series.

New Driver Cones

Opticon MK2 also introduces new developed wood fibre cones derived from the DALI Epicon series with a slightly darker colour to match the speakers new appearance. Within the drivers you will find DALI’s signature SMC (Soft Magnet Compound) technology.

Dual Flare Ports

On the rear of the models 1, 2, 6 and 8, further upgrades such as the Dual Flare reflex ports, ensure a smooth air flow through the speaker.

New Crossover

The crossover in every MK2 model has been completely redesigned due to the changes with the new tweeter, drivers and the revised porting system. The crossovers have also been upgraded with new, higher quality components to minimise loss even further.

Danish Made

An important element of the Opticon MK2 range is that the production remains fully Danish – as with the original Opticon series. The entire line-up is manufactured at DALI’s own factory from components either produced in-house or mainly sourced from the best local specialist-manufacturers.

Price

Prices depend on the model but for example the 2 Mk2 standmount is around £900 and the 8 Mk2 floorstander is around £2600
