DAVA FC CARTRIDGES INSPIRED BY THE 1970S
DaVa FC cartridges, from Lithuania, are inspired by the 70s, the golden age of vinyl.
Their creator, Darius Valiunas, wanted to make a replica of Neuman DST because he found that the sound it made was the closest to live music.
NEUMAN DST
Many years of studies, experiments, trial tests and consultations with Russian audio scientist E Komissarov passed, until he finally understood that the Neuman cartridge had too much tracking pressure, too high resonance, poor channel separation and was limited in clean high-frequency, so the direction turned to solving all of these problems.

The creator settled on the idea of a field coil electromagnet, combined with an improved Neuman’s DST construction. This became the DaVa cartridge, with unique shaped coils. Their cantilevers are made from almost unbreakable cactus spines, gaining their strength from nature.
The Dava FC-A1 and DaVa FC MONO are constructed using bronze and the DaVa FC REFERENCE using copper.
