Devialet Launch Gold Phantom

French brand, Devialet, are obviously in an Olympic mood and have given their ‘plug and play audiophile experience’ Phantom (whose launch we attended at High End Munich 2015) a 22 carat rose gold make-over. Not just a change in the finish though, they have beefed up the Phantom’s insides too.

Devialet claim the new Gold Phantom is ‘more powerful, more exhilarating and more refined’ than its predecessor. It boasts 4,500 W of power and 108 dB of ‘sound impact’. This makes Gold Phantom 8 times more powerful than Phantom. A new pure Titanium Tweeter gives ‘crystal clear’ high frequencies (27 kHz) plus Gold Phantom gives ‘The lowest frequencies ever emitted’ (14Hz) and also has a new patented ADH processor.
