Elipson W35+ Connected Loudspeaker

THE NEW AND IMPROVED ELIPSON W35+ CONNECTED LOUDSPEAKER IS ANNOUNCED

French brand Elipson has announced the Elipsob W35+ a new and improved version of their W35 connected, multi-room stereo speaker.

Elipson says that the improvements have boosted the sound quality and RJ45 connectivity is now integrated into the distinctive spherical design.

The Elipson W35+ is capable of high-quality, HD audio playback from your chosen source. Amplification remains Elipson’s proven Class-D amplifier that provides up to 350W RMS.

New to the W35+, and discretely built into the distinctive spherical housing, is an RJ45 socket for connected streaming along with digital (S/PDIF Optical) and analogue inputs (3.5mm mini-jack AUX).

TWEETERS

Elipson says that a redesign of the integration of the silk-dome tweeters now gives improvements in sound quality. The 2 x 6.5” mid/bass drive units perform in partnership with these reworked tweeter housings to give better treble and improved harmonics. Maintaining the original design of woofer and tweeter on each side of the speaker gives a stereophonic configuration from a single unit.

STREAMING

AptX HD Bluetooth will play high Res. music files up to 24-bit and Wi-Fi connectivity enables playing Hi-Res audio files in Solo mode or CD quality audio files in multi-room mode. Streaming platforms such as Qobuz, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Internet Radio etc. are also available, or can stream from your stored music files.

ELIPSON CONNECT APP

Operation is via the dedicated Elipson Connect App making the W35+ compatible with other Elipson Connected products…the Music Centre Connect HD, Connect Wi-Fi receiver and Connect streaming amp, all of which can be located in other rooms to create a simple to use multi-room system.
