Emelie Hollow is pleased to share two remixes of her current single ‘Like I Love You’ today from singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist TĀLĀ (Pitchfork, Dazed, The Fader, The Guardian) and fellow Norwegian and acclaimed producer Niilas (i-D, Stereogum, Dummy, Pigeons and Planes).

Hailing from Norway, Emelie Hollow is already displaying a sharp musicality and songwriting talent that transcends her 18 years. She has written music with several Scandinavian producers and songwriters already, including Dhani Lennevald (Lykke Li) and Carl Falk (Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Ariana Grande) and her brand new track, the smart pop and R&B flavour of ”Like I Love You” premiered on The Line Of Best Fit.

Emelie Hollow was born in Norway to a Norwegian mother and a father from New Zealand. From an early age she was making and listening to music; learning to play piano, guitar and cello, all the while growing into a great vocalist and in turn, a capriciously talented songwriter. She credits an eclectic range of musicians as having an influence on her sound, from NAO to Carole King to The Weeknd.

On the track itself she says:

”For me, “Like I Love You” is the beginning of a new chapter in my life, where I can explore and work with my music on other new levels. While I wrote the song in Stockholm, I lost my phone in a glass of water but I didn’t have time to be concerned about it because I was digging it too much – the phone survived! Even though it´s scary to release something completely different from what people have heard from me before, I’m really looking forward to presenting “Like I Love You”. I hope people like it.”

”Like I Love You” is written by Emelie Hollow and written/produced by Dhani Lennevald (Lykke Li) and Carl Falk (Demi Lovato, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande).
