Fanthorpes HiFi at the North West Audio Show will be hosting Pro-Ject, Luxman, Innuos, Martin Logan and PMC.
It’s always nice to do something for the first time, say the Hull company, and on the weekend of the 24th-25th of July, Fanthorpes Hifi are making their first trip to the North West Audio Show, at Cranage Hall in Cheshire.
Something else that will be happening for the very first time is the debut UK show outing of the Innuos Zenith SE. “This limited edition Zenith represents the pinnacle of Innuos audio technology”, say Fanthorpes. Anthony from Innuos will be on hand to answer all your technical questions and to demonstrate how rewarding and easy streaming can be, whether over a network, or connecting directly into your DAC via USB.
Fanthorpes haven’t forgotten Analogue though. Kieran Pickaver from Henley Designs will be with us too. Kieran will be showcasing the Project Signature turntable with the Ortofon Cadenza Black cartridge and Project’s Reference Phono Box.
From a practical point of view, there will also be two demonstrations during each day showing the benefits of improving your cartridge. Kieran will be rotating through the Ortofon black cartridges moving from 2M Black to Quintet Black and then Cadenza Black, pointing out the improvements on the way.
Amplification will be provided by Luxman of Japan. They will be using the C-900u Preamplifier for control and the M-900u for power.
Speaker wise they will be bringing their Martin Logan Classic 9s along to demonstrate the “room filling sound stage” that can be created using hybrid electrostatic speakers, and as a counter point they will also be bringing their show stalwarts, the always PMC FACT 12s.
Pop along to Bedroom 8 to say hello, and enjoy a listen.
