Focal has launched their affordable Chora range of speakers and are celebrating their 8^th anniversary with Naim with a selection of matched systems now available.

Made in France at Focal’s manufacturing facilities, Chora is a new generation of affordable loudspeakers, which replaces Focal’s Chorus range, featuring “unique technology and design”.

French Made Hifi

From its workshops in Saint-Étienne, Focal has spent the past 40 years innovating and creating. As part of this process of constant renewal, the brand is unveiling the successor to its Chorus line with the launch of Chora. The engineers may have had the same goal in mind when conceiving the project, namely, to offer accessible high-quality products.

In addition to a new design and three new finishes, the midrange and bass speaker drivers in the Chora loudspeakers are made of an all-new cone.

Slatefiber: The New Focal Cone

Slatefiber is a unique new speaker driver material designed and manufactured by Focal in France. Behind its slate-effect looks hides a range of technical innovations. Focal has introduced new materials: thermoplastic polymer, with non-woven recycled carbon fibres that achieve even greater damping, rigidity, and lightness.

Focal Chora

The Chora line consists of the Chora 826 and Chora 816 floorstanding loudspeakers and the Chora 806 bookshelf loudspeaker. All bass-reflex designs, in addition to the Slatefiber speaker drivers, these sound solutions integrate a TNF Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter.

Price & Finishes

Chora loudspeakers are available in Black, Light Wood and Dark Wood finishes. To complete the range, more Chora sound solutions are due to be launched in 2020, with the focus on Home Cinema.

Naim & Focal 8^th Anniversary

Naim and Focal, are celebrating the 8th anniversary of their merger with a set of matched systems. Combining Focal speakers with Naim’s Uniti systems, the three matched sets are available throughout September and October with special deal pricing that could save customers up to almost £1000.
