Gold Note, the Italian High-End Audio manufacturer based in Florence, has launched it’s new DAC, the DS-10, a D/A Converter & Streamer with Headphone amplifier and analogue preamplifier stage.

First presented at the High End Show in Munich in 2019, DS-10 is more than a DAC. The experience gained with the top of the line model DS-1000 and the addition of features from the IS-1000 integrated amp and streamer have led Gold Note to design this smaller all-in-one unit: a DAC/Streamer with AES-EBU digital inputs typical of the professional market, a headphone output and advanced connectivity to use all available streaming services.

Gold Note DS-10

The converter drives CD-Players, hard discs, flash memories, televisions and all kinds of digital sources while controlling final amplifiers and amplified speakers without needing to add anything else. The DS-10 is designed to be an ultra versatile unit that transforms every type of system into a connected network, controlled from the sofa through a dedicated app or through its TFT

colour monitor and the Gold Note single knob control system. DS-10 is compatible with almost all Internet streaming services including Roon, Tidal, Qobuz, Airplay, Spotify, Deezer, V-Tuner from which it can play DSD, PCM & MQA formats. When the On/Off switchable High-End audio analogue preamp stage is activated, the remote controls including the computer App synchronise the unit to all functions.

Machined Aluminium

DS-10 features a mechanical structure made of solid machined of aluminium  The air vent design derives directly from Gold Note’s PH-10 phono stage. There is a professional 6.3mm headphone output with an exclusive proprietary design which allows selecting the sensitivity to drive almost any kind of headphones on the market.

Price And Availability

From August 2019, DS-10 will be available worldwide through Gold Note dealers at a launching price of 2.490€.
