 The Goldmund Mimesis Signature Preamplifier is the latest release from Swiss HiFi brand Goldmund.

The Goldmund Mimesis Signature Preamplifier combines analogue and digital in a high end package.

DAC

At its core, the Mimesis Signature features the ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC, a 32-bit stereo digital-to-analogue converter which handles PCM audio data up to 384kHz at 32-bit and DSD data up to DSD-22.6MHz format (DSD512). This DAC has a dynamic range (DNR) of 129dB and THD+N of -120dB.

POWER SUPPLY

The power supply within the Goldmund Mimesis Signature is designed to curb noise.  Output noise measures at a low 18µV, the power supply achieves power supply rejection of 80dB,

By distinctly separating the analogue and digital power supplies, Goldmund aims to shield the audio signal and its components from any potential noise interference.

NEW 2023 DESIGN

The Goldmund Mimesis Signature Preamplifier embodies new 2023 design language, harmonizing aesthetics with functionality. The top panel exhibits a No-screw-design, creating an uncluttered and streamlined appearance. The side panels echo the design ethos of the Goldmund active speaker range, embodying the flagship Gaia. There is a new, thicker panel structure, with a 12mm profile, previously 6-8mm.
