INFIGOAUDIO INTRODUCES THEIR BRAND NEW STREAMER MODEL, THE IS-1
The InfigoAudio IS-1 Streamer, in its classic Infigo style designed enclosure, is available in three versions: Performance, Signature and Cryogen.
The InfigoAudio IS-1 Streamer is designed to deliver high-performance digital audio with several advanced features.
INFIGOAUDIO IS-1 STREAMER
The streamer includes a USB-optimised connection for use with a DAC, enabling playback of the highest sample rates of digital music. It also features an ultra-low-noise linear power supply and supports network-attached internal local storage of up to 4TB for music playback directly to a DAC.
ISOLATION
The IS-1 uses fibre optic isolation to minimise network noise, separating the ‘dirty’ network from the clean audio chain. It also incorporates ultra-low jitter re-clocking of network audio packets, reducing the need for specialised network equipment. The device supports multiple modes of operation, including Audirvana, uPnP, Roon, and HQPlayer, making it compatible with most music players.
Internally, the IS-1 is powered by an Intel Quad Core CPU, with one core fully dedicated to music processing. It also features a built-in local webpage for easy control and customisation, along with dimmable front-panel LEDs. The streamer’s network connection is fibre optic, offering improved audio performance by eliminating network jitter, and it comes with a 3-metre fibre optic cable, with custom lengths available on request.
ROON & AUDIRVANA
The IS-1 can operate as a server or endpoint for various platforms, including Roon and Audirvana, and is compatible with most Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. A Cryogen version with cryogenically treated internal cables is also available for enhanced performance.
INFIGOAUDIO IS-1 STREAMER PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The base model, Performance, lists at $3500, the Signature model lists at $5000 and the Cryogen model $7000.
The IS-1 streamer was debuted at Pacific Audio Fest in Seattle September 6 – 8 and is available now.
