Innuos, who’s products and collaborations were seen and heard in several rooms at Bristol Sound and Vision 2017, has joined Roon’s exclusive partner program, allowing customers to use Roon as a Server (Core) and as a Player (Bridge) on their Zen MkII Music Servers.

Roon has brought more colour to music by providing an interface which offers a way to explore, search and read more information about music and artists.” Nuno Vitorino, Innuos co-founder says. “Our philosophy is to design open products which allow integration with the most popular Hifi and Multi-room products in the market. To offer customers the possibility to use the content-rich Roon software with our Zen MkII series perfectly embodies that philosophy.”

Customers will be able to select through the innuOS App whether and how they want to use their Zen MkII music server with Roon software. Three scenarios will be possible:

1. Using a Zen MkII server as both Roon Server and Player, connecting it to a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC).

2. Using a Zen MkII server as a Roon Server, connecting it to one or more Roon Ready Players.

3. Using a Zen MkII server as a Roon Ready Player, connecting it to a DAC and to a PC/Mac running Roon.

A Roon license, purchased separately will be required to use a Zen MkII music server as a Roon Server. To celebrate the launch of this new partnership, all Zen MkII models will come with a free 2-month Roon trial.
