We have just received the following sad news from the team at Moon by Simaudio of Canada.

“It is with great sadness, that after a short illness we announce the passing of our President, Louis Lemire, on the evening of Thursday, September 23rd, at the age of 55″.

Louis Lemire of Simaudio has sadly died at the age of 55

“Passionate about audio and music from a young age, Louis became an electronics engineer to satisfy his passion. It was in 2013 that he was able to truly realise his dream by becoming an owner of Simaudio together with Costa Koulisakis and Thierry Dufour.

He put all his soul and energy into the service of the company by fulfilling his role as President with talent and determination for more than eight years. He inspired his colleagues and always earned their respect through his integrity and profound humanity. Louis was a gentleman of endless generosity, jovial humour, and infectious laughter. He will be sadly missed and will always be celebrated through his passion for music.

Costa and Thierry will carry the Simaudio torch with the support of all employees and are working to establish continuity in the company’s operations. We are going to extend Louis’ work and honour his wishes by continuing to make Simaudio a leader in high-fidelity audio.

Our deepest thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends.
