LUXMAN L-595A SE INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER RELEASED TO CELEBRATE THEIR 95^TH ANNIVERSARY

Luxman’s new pure class A Integrated amplifier the Luxman L-595A SE, has been released to celebrate the Japanese brand’s 95^th anniversary and is limited to 300 units.

The Luxman L-595A SE integrated amplifier is based on their best selling model, the Luxman L-570.

The first L-570 was launched in 1989. The new Luxman L-595A SE integrated amplifier features the two-tone colour/brushed finish front panel that revives the image of the L-570 series but applying current metal processing technology.

The Luxman L-595A SE also has a square brushed, aluminium input selector that allows you to switch inputs intuitively and has a pleasant and reliable operation feel. The precision volume knob illuminates the volume level with an LED installed in a deep seated opening. The 6mm thick top plate has a brushed finish to match the front panel and widened venting to improve heat dissipation.

CIRCUIT CONFIGURATION

The new amplifier is an ODNF-u compatible 3-stage Darlington 3-parallel push-pull configuration, pure class A 30 watts-per-channel (8Ω) rated output with improved high-frequency distortion characteristics. ODNF-u stands for Only Distortion Negative Feedback-ultimate.

It has a large, highly regulated power transformer and independent left and right 80,000 ㎌ filter capacitors. The output stage of the pre-amplifier circuit is equipped with a discrete buffer circuit that improves the driving force to the power amplifier block.

The Luxman L-595A SE is equipped with the new LECUA1000 electronically controlled attenuator with integrated 88-step amplifier circuitry that ensures smooth volume control. LECUA stands for LUXMAN Electric Controlled Ultimate Attenuator.

The Class A amplifier achieves a high damping factor of 370 by lowering the impedance of the large speaker relay and speaker terminals. It features a ‘Beeline’ construction that directs audio input signals via the optimum shortest route to the speaker output. The non-angled circuit board tracing allows for smooth current transmission.

MM/MC PHONOSTAGE

There is a built in MM/MC compatible phono amplifier circuit that allows you to enjoy vinyl playback without purchasing an additional dedicated phono amplifier. The volume-linked loudness function matches human hearing characteristics, and a separate function enables the addition of a power amplifier or connection to an AV system.

CONSTRUCTION

The independent, loopless chassis construction blocks any rise in ground impedance. The shielding plate mounting is made from copper-plated steel to block external noise. The amplifier is equipped with RCA input terminals made from a copper alloy which delivers the conductivity of copper and the hardness of brass. It also has ‘density gradient’ feet to block out vibration.

Included is a high-end RA-17A aluminium remote controller that can also operate Luxman’s CD/SACD players.
