MartinLogan, the American manufacturer of electrostatic and Folded Motion® ltechnology loudspeakers, has announced that all speakers in the Masterpiece Series are now shipping.

With the January 2017 launch of the new Focus ESL C18 centre channel speaker, MartinLogan’s year-long journey to bring the new Masterpiece Series to market is complete. Originally announced at CES 2016, the Renaissance ESL 15A was the first Masterpiece Series speaker brought to market. Since the launch of Renaissance ESL 15A in February 2016, MartinLogan has released three additional floorstanding electrostatic speakers (Expression ESL 13A, Impression ESL 11A, and Classic ESL 9) and two new centre channel electrostatic speakers (Illusion ESL C34A and Focus ESL C18).

Masterpiece Series speakers features include Curvilinear Line Source (CLS™) XStat™ vacuum-bonded electrostatic transducers with advanced microperf stator technology, redesigned ultra-rigid AirFrame™ Blade construction, and low-distortion aluminium cone woofers powered by Class-D amplifiers and controlled by a 24-Bit Vojtko™ DSP Engine with ARC™ (Anthem Room Correction). Features vary by model.

During 2016, MartinLogan also announced seven new products featuring wireless streaming technology—3 soundbars, 2 speakers, an amplifier, and a pre-amplifier. The Motion Vision X soundbar and Crescendo X tabletop speaker are now shipping to customers. The Cadence and Verse soundbars, the Bravado bookshelf speaker, Forte amplifier, and Unison pre-amplifier will ship to customers in March of 2017.

And finally, MartinLogan also announced their new Outdoor Living all-weather speaker system. The Outdoor Living system consists of the Outdoor Sat 40 and Outdoor Sat 60 satellite speakers featuring 4-inch and 6-inch woofers, 0.75-inch tweeters, and switchable input including 8-Ohm, 70 Volt, and 100 Volt options; the Dynamo Outdoor Sub 100 and Dynamo Outdoor Sub 120 subterranean subwoofers featuring 10-inch and 12-inch woofers, working in 8-Ohms; and mounting accessories include a ground stake, surface mount bracket, and burial conduit junction.
