Mitchell & Johnson Launch New CD Player At Bristol
Mitchell & Jonhson launch new British-made S800 CD player at The Bristol Hifi Show 2019.
Mitchell & Johnson has expanded its flagship made-in-Britain 800 Series with the introduction of a new CD player, the S800. Entirely designed, engineered and built in the UK, the new S800 CD player complements the existing S800 pre and S815 power amp, all of which will be on demonstration at The Bristol Hifi Show.
Digital-to-analogue conversion is performed by an ESS Sabre DAC coupled to a European-sourced CD drive; a linear power supply is also featured. Outputs include balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA and digital (S/PDIF coaxial and Toslink optical), plus a 12V Power Link. Despite the specification and UK design and manufacturing, the price is t £1,299.
The S800 CD player can be ordered now with wider availability in April 2019 price is £1,299.
