Founded in Portugal in 2007, Vicoustic has a global presence in over 80 countries and has delivered over a million acoustic panels for numerous projects worldwide, from offices and restaurants to home cinemas and HiFi listening rooms.

RECYCLED MATERIALS

Vicoustic officially opened its new facility in Paços de Ferreira, Portugal, earlier this month. This factory significantly boosts Vicoustic’s production capabilities, enabling the ongoing development and manufacture of eco-friendly acoustic panels and sound booths made primarily from recycled materials.

Vicoustic’s commitment to sustainability is exemplified in its production of acoustic solutions using recycled materials, including VicPET Wool, made primarily from ocean-rescued plastic bottles. This innovative material is used in the company’s Virtual Material Technology (VMT) acoustic panels and the interiors of VicBooth soundproofing booths.

VICOUSTIC CONVENTION

The 2024 Vicoustic Convention served as the platform for the grand opening, attracting business partners from around the globe. Attendees toured the new facility, observed the acoustic product manufacturing process, explored the R&D labs for sound testing, and previewed a new product range.

MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE FOCUSED ON SUSTAINABILITY

The construction of this modern industrial complex reflects Vicoustic’s commitment to enhanced production efficiency and environmental stewardship. The facility incorporates sustainable practices, such as solar panels, reduced consumption, and minimized waste through the reuse of leftover materials for packaging.

HiFi PiG Says: We are always impressed with brands that are working towards being more sustainable with their manufacturing processes and material use.
