Ovation High Fidelity currently make their Model 1501 preamplifier, 1701 and 1721 power amplifiers. The preamplifier is an interesting design and has an onboard phonostage and to cater for the potentially deleterious effects of arm resonance and warped or off-center vinyl discs, a rumble filter is provided which is selected via a pushbutton located on the rear panel. There was an old and decidedly warped copy of a Manhattan Transfer album from 1975 which played really well and was a bit of a blast from the past for me, having not heard the band for decades.
