OCTAVIO STREAM COMPACT STREAMER FROM FRANCE WITH MULTIROOM CAPABILITIES
Octavio says that their products are designed for audiophiles and music lovers, but also for bars, hotels and restaurants.
Octavio Stream has been designed to “modernise classic audio systems, so they feature today’s best audio technologies” to allow users to easily distribute their music at home.
FRENCH DESIGN
Compatible with most streaming services, the devices have a multiroom mode, allowing synchronized listening on several Octavio devices simultaneously. Born in 2019, Octavio products are designed and assembled in France. The company started because the founding team of David and Victor had quality and vintage audio systems that they appreciated and loved, but which were not compatible with their way of enjoying music from streaming services. They wanted to add the convenience and possibilities that modern streaming gives, without losing their treasured HiFi.
OCTAVIO STREAM
Whether you want to integrate connected devices into your hotel common areas, create a different atmosphere in each of your rooms through simplified remote control, allow your customers to have a personal listening experience in their private rooms, or simply add streaming to your home HiFi system, Octavio Stream connects to active speakers, an amplifier, or an external DAC. You can also connect the Octavio Amp (699€) to amplify your speakers.
Up to twelve Octavio devices can be grouped together from the mobile app to play the same music on multiple devices in each of your areas.
OCTAVIO VIRTUOSE APP
Link the Octavio Virtuose app to your streaming accounts such as Qobuz or Tidal and access them on your tracks on your Octavio devices. Octavio Virtuose is able to detect your favourite tracks linked to your streaming account, as well as your networked music stored on a NAS. Octavio Stream is compatible with many audio formats including FLAC, OGG, ALAC, WMA, APE and MP3. The Octavio’s DAC offers audio resolution up to 24bits / 192kHz.
The Octavio Stream streamer connects to your HiFi using the jack or RCA cable or, if your device has an optical input, you can also connect your Octavio Stream to it with a mini Toslink cable. Octavio is set up using Bluetooth, then streams using WiFi (up to 24-bit/192kHz), you can access your personal library with UPnP. Octavio is compatible with Airplay 2, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect.
COMPACT SIZE
Ocravio Stream is small in size (118 x 65 x 22 mm) and has a simple, minimalist design. You can leave it powered on thanks to its low power consumption (1.7 W) and automatic standby mode.
