roksponsmallThis year sees the continuation of the ‘International KEF Month’ anniversary celebration taking place throughout October. Following the success of the celebrations in previous years, KEF are celebrating their 55th Year Anniversary with a full month-long festivity, allowing even further participation for enthusiastic consumers.

International KEF Month coincides with the anniversary of KEF’s founding in 1961, and is now an annual fixture in KEF’s year, to celebrate the company’s history of technical innovation, engineering and passion for the art of music. The company was founded in 1961 by Raymond Cooke OBE (1925–1995) and was initially headquartered in a Nissen Hut on the premises of Kent Engineering & Foundry (from where the name KEF is derived) – a metal-working company on the banks of the River Medway, near Maidstone in Kent. Commenting on the event, Nick Bryant, Head of Sales and Marketing at KEF, said, ‘We’re really excited about International KEF Month this year, it has become a major celebration in our calendar. It’s a real chance to look back at our rich heritage and see how far we have come thanks to our latest innovations. This year’s promotion gives consumers a chance to enjoy KEF sound on the move with KEF M Series, no need to compromise on sound quality when you are away from home.’

Keep an eye on our news section as KEF promise new product announcements through the month.
