The Danish maker’s 2M Premounted range is designed to be a practical and elegant solution for customers who want direct and easy cartridge mounting and replacement on an S-shaped tonearm.

HEADSHELL

The Ortofon SH-4 black headshell that the moving magnet cartridges are mounted on is sturdy and rigid but with a slim form factor. The strong, lightweight headshell has an ergonomic design with a long finger lift that is designed to be easy to pick up. It is easy to mount directly on S-shaped tonearms with a universal mount. Styli on the premounted cartridges are interchangeable for upgrading.

The 2M Red features Ortofon’s invention, the split pole pins, it is Ortofon’s entry-level cartridge in the series.
