Pro-Ject launch a new versatile Debut model with an S-Shape tonearm, the Pro-Ject Debut PRO S, along with the Pro-Ject Vinyl NRS Box S3.

After a first reveal at the High End Munich show in May 2022, Pro-Ject Audio Systems are now officially unveiling the Pro-Ject Debut PRO S turntable, along with the noise-reducing Pro-Ject Vinyl NRS Box S3.

The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S benefits from many of the advancements made with the Debut PRO, and adds features to suit turntable-based audio systems where changing between cartridges is a necessary requirement.

S SHAPE TONEARM

Based around a new 10” S-Shape tonearm with SME-style headshell fitting for easy cartridge changing, this latest Debut model has a pre-adjusted Pick-IT S2 C cartridge in black finish. The new 10” S-Shape aluminium tonearm with adjustable VTA and SME headshell connector means that the Debut PRO S has a new chassis to accommodate the larger tonearm. It has a precision aluminium platter with TPE damping, diamond-cut aluminium sub-platter, TPE motor suspension system and precision belt drive system.

MADE IN EUROPE

The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Turntable has height-adjustable metal feet, gold plated RCA output connectors, and a discrete electronic speed change rocker switch (support for 33, 45 and 78 RPM playback). The eight-layer hand-painted MDF chassis comes in a Satin Black finish. A premium semi-symmetrical Connect-IT E phono cable is included, as is the dust cover. It is handmade in Europe.

Pro-Ject’s Vinyl Noise Reduction System the Pro-Ject Vinyl NRS Box S3 claims to be a new affordable solution designed to bring your old record collection ’back to life’ by removing noise and “crackles” from older, worn vinyl records.

The Vinyl NRS Box S3 connects between your phono stage and your amplifier and uses a digital signal processing algorithm at 24-bit / 96kHz to clean up the end sound performance. With its galvanic bypass function, it can also be completely removed from the signal chain when playing records that are still in a good condition.

SNAP, CRACKLE AND POP

The Pro-Ject Vinyl NRS Box S3 has an adjustable “De-Crackling” function to reduce audible clicks in vinyl playback. VNRS noise reduction reduces surface noise from records and turntable drive noise. The digital process is handled at 24-bit / 96kHz for precise processing with no signal loss. The off button initiates galvanic bypass, effectively eliminating the box from the signal path. The -6dB button attenuates high-gain systems for better signal handling.

The compact design in comes in Pro-Ject’s S3-Line aluminium housing and it is available in black or silver finish and is made in Europe.
