PYLON JASPER 23 LOUDSPEAKER THE SMALLEST PYLON JASPER FLOORSTANDER

Polish loudspeaker brand, Pylon Audio has released the third speaker in their Jasper range, the Pylon Jasper 23.

The Pylon Jasper 23 promises the sound signature, class and design of its bigger brother the Pylon Jasper 25 MKII in a form intended for smaller rooms.

SCANSPEAK DRIVERS

As with the Jasper 25, drivers for the Pylon Jasper 23 are from Danish brand Scanspeak. The transducers used have been specially selected in a series of acoustic measurements and hours of tests. Lows and mids are run by a pair of 15 cm Revelators, with their characteristic cuts designed to reduce membrane’s distortion and its standing waves. A silk tweeter with an ultra-light 18-gram vibrating system is also used.

CABINET

The slim Pylon Jasper 23 cabinet is a housing without any cuboidal forms, with the acoustic centres of the speakers aligned in the critical mid-treble section, and minimalised diffraction. The extreme stiffness of the cabinet was achieved thanks to, thick MDF boards, while the front is made with sandwich technology. These treatments, together with precisely placed structural reinforcements, ensure, say Pylon, the significant reduction of all self-resonances and distortions.

The Pylon Jasper 23 are designed for use in rooms with a floor area from 18 to 35 m2. They are available in high gloss or matt laquers in black or white, with RAL colours available on request.
