Los Angeles singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Mazer follows-up her debut DIY-success, How Do We Get By with the fun and flirtatious new video for “Is It So Wrong” premiering now on PopMatters.

The track includes Vulfpeck members Joe Dart, Woody Goss, and Theo Katzman, Laura Mace (Foo Fighters), Mike G (Dawes), Julian Allen, James Cornelison. The video showcases a vintage-vibe with superbly curated colour-palettes and a diverse group of romantic characters. Also highlighted is a who’s who of LA musicians including Amber Navran (Moonchild), Andris Mattson (Moonchild), Monica Martin (Phox), Rett Madison (Scary Pockets), Suzy Jones, Ari Herstand (Ari’s Take), Beth Goodfellow (Iron and Wine,Phoebe Bridgers, Madison Cunningham), Jacob Jeffries, and many others.

Rachel’s debut album How Do We Get By has turned into a 2019 DIY-success with Mazer amassing thousands of monthly listeners via Spotify and over 300k streams on the singles.

Rachel Mazer is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Most people recognize Rachel as a freelancing vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, bass, guitar) who has performed with many different LA and Michigan bands including playing bass with May Erlewine, Monica Martin, and Anna Ash; and has played saxophone with Vulfpeck, Woman Believer, Amber Navran, Benny Sings, Jacob Mann’s Big Band, Julian Allen, Jacob Jeffries and many others.

Rachel has also opened for bands and artists including The Suffers, Emily Elbert, Jacob Jeffries, and Anna Ash. People are now beginning to turn their heads to Rachel as a solo artist, as she launched her solo artist career with her first two singles ‘Is It So Wrong’ and ‘Open Heart’ in November – both banging retro-pop tracks. Soon enough people will recognize Rachel Mazer for her heartfelt forthcoming record How Do We Get By out on March 8, 2019, which she crowdfunded $20,000 on Kickstarter to make.
