Simple Audio has launched their Roomplayer Android app beta programme. The company invites 
users to sign-up to obtain exclusive access to the new control system. This new app compliments the existing versions for iPhone and iPad, and beta testers can email comments to the Simple Audio team.
The Android app is designed to run on devices of 7” and above, however owners of smaller screen sizes are welcome to join the programme, and Simple Audio again very much encourages user feedback. Recommended devices comprise: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7”; Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1”; Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4”, Google Nexus 7, Kindle Fire HD, and Samsung Glaxy Note 10.1. Compatible operating systems include Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0-4.0.4), Jelly Bean (4.1-4.3.1) and KitKat (4.4-4.4.4). Processor speed will affect the speed of operation, but should not impact functionality.
