SOULINES TT9 TURNTABLE AND KIVI M3 TONEARM ARRIVE IN THE UK

Serbian HiFi brand Soulines has brought its latest turntable, the Soulines TT9, and KVIM3 tonearm to the UK.

We have followed Soulines for the last decade or so, reviewing their Kubrick DCX turntable back in 2014, read the review here. They now have a new UK distributor, Sound Fowndations and their products are now available again in the UK.

SOULINES TT9 TURNTABLE

Founded by Igor Gligorov, Soulines focuses on precision engineering, ease of use, and stylish aesthetics. Each component is individually manufactured and CNC-machined for optimal fit and function. A key design element is vibration control, using calculations based on the Fibonacci Sequence and Golden Ratio to optimise resonance damping.

The Soulines tt9 turntable incorporates design elements from the brand’s top models. Its rigid yet compact construction minimises unwanted resonance. Features include an inverted main bearing made of stainless steel and brass, a Delrin thrust plate, and a 30mm thick, 2.5kg acrylic platter with a recessed area for records to sit flat. A bespoke record clamp enhances stability.

A high-quality DC motor with an electronically controlled power supply ensures precise speed control. The motor and bearing are mounted on an aluminium sub-plinth, decoupled via rubber-cork washers to reduce vibration. Adjustable Delrin cones allow easy levelling and energy dissipation.

SOULINES KIVI M3 UNIPIVOT TONEARM

The KiVi M3 tonearm has aone-piece construction to enhance rigidity, while a captive unipivot bearing combines the benefits of a unipivot design with added stability. The counterweight system accommodates various cartridges, ensuring broad compatibility.
