February may be a short month but we have packed in so much! There was loads of Hifi News and we brought you lots of brilliant Hifi Reviews too. Of course, the main event is the annual Bristol Hifi Show, 2019 was an amazing Bristol Show and we have plenty of coverage for you.
Well, that’s all folks…we have visited all the rooms and stands at one of the UK’s best Hifi shows, The Bristol Hifi Show 2019. It was a brilliant Hifi show and it was fantastic to see all our industry friends and many of our brilliant readers. We also had a fantastic partnership with Diverse Vinyl and a fab competition to win a Nord amplifier.
It’s not just the show rooms that attract the crowds at the Bristol Show each year, there is absolutely loads of Hifi treasure to be found on the static stands and booths, including plenty of headfi.
The Terrace, Ground and Lower Ground floors of the Bristol Hifi Show house some big rooms, and, even bigger names in the Hifi industry. These rooms attract such a level of interest that many have to give closed door presentations, but all were very accommodating in letting us in to have a listen and bring you the latest news and new product launches.
People queuing up to get into the Bristol Hifi Show well before the doors open can only be a good sign for the industry. Overall this year’s show seemed very busy, with a good mix of singles and couples in attendance. On the downside, there were only two of the three lifts working which was a bit of a pain and made the stairs busy, but that’s a minor gripe.
We’ll walk you through the show in the next few days with loads of photos and a few thoughts of what we heard.

The Bristol Hifi Show is the start of the Hifi Show year for many in the industry, with Hifi industry people and Hifi fans and fanatics alike, making their way to the show each year. Spring was most definitely in the air this year, with the warm sunshine bringing out the crowds, a welcome relief after the wintry weather of previous years.
Henley Audio, Pro-Ject’s UK distributor, have a lot to show you at this weekend’s Bristol Show. Pro-Ject have been very busy, and they have 5 new electronics and 4 new turntables launching.
Chord Company is promising to bring the X factor to its Bristol Hi-Fi Show demonstrations this year as it introduces its latest cable technology, XLPE. The new-to-Chord-Company insulation material, which has recently been implemented in several new loudspeaker cables, will be a focus of the company’s throughout the weekend.
