It’s not just the show rooms that attract the crowds at the Bristol Show each year, there is absolutely loads of Hifi treasure to be found on the static stands and booths, including plenty of headfi.

Naim & Focal

It was a nice welcome to the show to see the new Bentley Continental GT…sound system courtesy of Naim Audio!

As well as having their two large rooms, Naim & Focal were very much in evidence with their fab new headphones and lots of streaming gear on the Terrace.

The Chord Company

Chord Co were doing a roaring trade in cables as usual on their stand.

Meze

Distributor SCV had the latest from Meze headphones and Novafidelity.

Keith Monks

Keith was keeping the vinyl clean

Melco Audio

Alan and his crew from Melco had a stand too, as well as being in some of the rooms we visited.

Timestep

Lots of turntables and upgrades from Dave at Timestep, with his lovely wife.

Solidsteel

Great racks from Italy, we picked the ‘tripod rack’ as one of our Trends of the Year……these guys do it very nicely!

Hifi Racks

And some great racks from the UK too, solid wood this time, from the fab team at Hifi Racks led by the lovely Brad and Julie. Featured is their new Omnium8 range.

Atacama

This area of the show really is ‘rack alley’ great to be able to see several brands together and compare them.  These are from Atacama, also showing their new cable range (more on these in our Floor Two report).

Ruark Audio

Nice, stylish, home-friendly Hifi from the Ruark team.

Sennheiser

One of the most well known names in headphones for music lovers and professionals alike.

Audio Technica

More headphones from Audio Technica.

Tonar

Known globally for their vinyl accessories and cartridges. My eye caught these particularly cool looking new record clamps at £59. Wonder if they do them in pink?

Linn

Speaking of pink…good to see our friends at Linn on brand! (More on Linn in our Floor One coverage).

Puritan Audio Labs

The Puritan stand was drawing the crowds with their mains power cleansing dem.

Chord Electronics

Chord had brought plenty to delight the headfi enthusiasts including Mojo, Poly and Hugo 2. Check out their main room as well in our ‘Big Rooms’ coverage.

Audeze with Astell & Kern

The Audeze planar headphones and IEMs and the A&K electronics were as popular as ever with fans of all ages.

JBL Synthesis

JBL were showing the new version of their classic L100 loudspeaker.

Henley Audio

Always out in force at Bristol, on top of their three excellent rooms on the top floor, they had a really cool booth featuring lots of gear from their brands Pro-Ject Audio, Musical Fidelity and Klipsch.

The Vinyl Adventure

Selling plenty of records and everything you needed to keep them pristine.

Innuos

The Portuguese streaming and music server specialists have taken the Hifi world by storm in the last few years, they are everywhere and many brands like KEF, Chord Electronics and The Chord Company, use their products at shows.  We have been consistently impressed with their demos at shows and their gear sounded great in the rooms at this Bristol Show. This year they were showcasing the new, compact ZENmini Mk3 CD ripper and streamer which now has a full array of audio outputs to make it compatible with almost any system. Amelia and Nuno were on hand to explain their gear to the many visitors on their static stand.

Kirmuss Audio

We rated the Kirmuss KA-RC-1 Ultrasonic record cleaning machine as ‘outstanding’ when we reviewed it. There were crowds around the stand at Bristol eager to find our more about this excellent piece of vinyl care kit!

Townshend Audio

Max, Sue and Tony were helping the visitors get to know their range of upgrades, isolation products, cables and electronics. You can now get their platforms to fit under and isolate just about any speaker. Make sure you watch their demo at the next show you are at to be convinced!.
