BUGATTI AND TIDAL AUDIO COLLABORATE ON TIDAL FOR BUGATTI LOUDSPEAKERS AND SOURCE
At the end of last year, German loudspeaker brand, Tidal Audio (no, not the streaming service) announced that they would be working with the equally high-end luxury car manufacturer, Bugatti, of Alsace, France. Now they have also announced their recommended source, the Royale MC1 Streaming DAC.
Bugatti and Tidal Audio aim to make premium audio systems that will “set a new standard for home music systems, the Bugatti of home audio”.
LUXURY AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN
Bugatti and Tidal Audio are united in a shared philosophy: “to strive for perfection without limits in order to perform with exceptional design, effort and uncompromising spirit”. Tidal Audio founder and CEO Jörn Janczak has always had a strong passion for sports cars, and Bugatti in particular had a specific fascination for him.
TIDAL FOR BUGATTI ROYALE
The partnership between Bugatti and Tidal Audio begins with the “Royale” range of speakers that have an ‘options list’ of finishes to rival a supercar manufacturers. The main designs are Monocoque and Duotone and the client can select between piano finishes or avant-garde colour and material combinations. Each “Royale” loudspeaker pair can be customized with carbon fibre, fabrics, leather, polished stainless steel, dark aluminium or precious metal surfaces.
The front of the speakers feature the Bugatti logo plaque, finished in polished stainless steel and curved to accommodate the shape of the cabinet and the rear plate is branded ‘Tidal For Bugatti’ to underline the exclusive cooperation.
The “Royale” has four subwoofer drivers per speaker and a 3-way front unit with a midrange-driver and tweeter with diamond diaphragms. Royale is an active speaker housing powerful amplifiers inside. The matching music controller allows connection to all kinds of sources, including music streaming services and TV, and can be controlled with smart devices and Tidal have just announced their new recommended source, the Tidal for Bugatti “Royale MC-1”.
