TOTALDAC D1-SWITCH ETHERNET SWITCH REVEALED
High-End French brand Totaldac has revealed their new Totaldac d1-switch Ethernet Switch.
Vincent Brient of Totaldac told us: “The d1-switch is made to improve the sound of a digital source connected to the network, making the sound more natural for local file reading but also for internet streaming”.
TOTALDAC D1-SWITCH ETHERNET SWITCH
The Totaldac d1-switch is housed in the same enclosure as the Totaldac DACs or streamer, for a perfectly matching Totaldac system.
The three RJ45 sockets have each their own functionality. One is a router input, connected to the router or to a local network wall socket. One is a NAS input, connected to a NAS or a server or a Roon Core, a Totaldac d1-player for example. The third is a streamer input, for a Totaldac d1-streamer-mk2 for example. A Totaldac ethernet cable/filter can be used for each socket of this switch. The d1-switch ethernet switch has a Totaldac live-power power supply, already used in their DACs, streamers, drivers and amplifiers.
PRICE
Pre-orders are now open and the first units should be shipped in spring 2022.
Totaldac d1-switch price: 4490euros incl VAT in Europe, 4200euros excl VAT outside of Europe
