High End hifi shop, KJ West One are teaming up with Vertere to bring you the first of their new Vinyl showcase evenings entitled ‘Strictly Vinyl’.

The KJ West One team told us: “The aim of these events is to delve deep into the world of analogue. You will not just hear examples on a world class turntable and system but also Vertere’s Touraj Moghaddam will be revealing his 30 years of vinyl knowledge with a focus on vinyl production from original recording to mastering, cutting and pressing”.

For this special evening, Touraj will be joined by two special guests. Joe Donnelly of CAEZAR (The first signing to Vertere’s new record label) will be on hand to meet and greet and talk about the project as well as Miles Showell from Abbey Road Studios who will be attending after 20:30 talking about how CAEZAR and some other new & older pressings were done using his unique half-speed mastering process. Touraj and Miles will be bringing along some of their special test pressings, acetates plus new and old production records will be used to explain and reveal the different mastering and cutting techniques used.

There will be two sessions on the night to ensure that the demo room does not get too crowded. The first starting at 6pm and the second starting at 8pm.
