CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF YPSILON AUDIO AT AUDIO SHOW DELUXE 2025

Ypsilon Audio is marking its 30th anniversary with the launch of the Ypsilon PST 100 Anniversary Pre Amplifier, an elevated version of its SE model. The launch takes place at Audio Show Deluxe 2025, next weekend.

The company has aimed to push sonic performance further with carefully selected design enhancements and premium materials and the new model will launch at Audio Show Deluxe 2025 in a collaboration between distributor High End By Oz UK and British HiFi brand Wilson Benesch.

TRANSFORMER ATTENUATORS WITH NANOCRYSTALLINE CORE

One of the key upgrades in the Ypsilon PST 100 Anniversary Pre Amp is its transformer attenuators, which now feature a custom nanocrystalline core material. This enhancement is designed to refine the purity of the signal path and optimise performance.

SILVER-WOUND TRANSFORMERS AND ULTRA-PURE TOPOLOGY

Ypsilon Audio has implemented an ultra-pure circuit topology in the active gain stage. Silver-wound nanocrystalline transformers are employed at both the input and output stages to ensure minimal signal loss and improved transparency.

YPSILON PST 100 ANNIVERSARY POINT-TO-POINT SILVER WIRING

The Ypsilon PST 100 Anniversary Pre Amp is entirely point-to-point wired using ultra-pure silver wire, eliminating the need for capacitors in the signal path. This meticulous approach is intended to preserve the integrity of the audio signal.

UPGRADED POWER SUPPLY DESIGN

The preamp’s power supply has been refined with high-quality film capacitors instead of electrolytics, alongside a high-inductance double C-core amorphous choke filter. These upgrades contribute to a quieter background and enhanced dynamic range.

TUBE CONFIGURATION AND NEW DISPLAY DESIGN

The Ypsilon PST 100 Anniversary Pre Amp retains the same tube configuration as the SE model, incorporating one C3m tube per channel and a rectifier tube. The front display has been redesigned with larger characters and offers selectable colours via the settings menu.

WORLD PREMIERE AT AUDIO SHOW DELUXE 2025

The Ypsilon PST 100 Anniversary Pre Amp will make its world debut at Audio Show Deluxe, held at Whittlebury Park Hotel on March 22^nd -23^rd. Visitors can experience it in the Melbourne room, with Wilson Benesch.

AUDIO SHOW DELUXE 2025

The luxury HiFi Show, Audio Show Deluxe 2025 will take place at Whittlebury Park, near Silverstone Racetrack in Northamptonshire, on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of March 2025. Doors to the event open on Saturday at  9:30 – 18:00 and Sunday at 9:30 – 16:00.
