TITAN AUDIO EROS MAINS POWERBLOCK ANNOUNCED

Titan Audio has announced the arrival of the new Titan Audio Eros mains power block.

This is a brand-new design in the upper end of the company’s power products portfolio, featuring existing and new technologies and design elements that improve on the previous model.

Titan Audio, from Northern Ireland, told us: “In mains power block design, it’s widely acknowledged now that as you travel ‘down’ the block from the power source, there is a loss of current delivery. Often this is caused by the ‘busbar’ arrangement that is commonly employed in many alternative products. We have subsequently designed an in-house power delivery method to rectify this occurrence. This hardwired array ensures that each socket receives and maintains the exact same current. This results in better stability and perceivably improved performance in all components connected to the device”.

OCC CABLE

Each socket on the Titan Audio Eros mains powerblock is internally wired with the same OCC (Single Crystal Copper) cable that is featured in Titan’s Eros mains cables. The sockets in the Eros are upgraded with high specification components and improved internal earthing. In addition, there is an ‘external’ grounding point located on the outside of the chassis to help further reduce any external interference that could be of detriments to sonic performance.

ALUMINIUM CHASSIS

The chassis of the new Titan Audio Eros mains block is constructed entirely from high-quality aluminium, including the newly designed legs. The chassis is now internally coated with a carefully researched and designed coating for its sound deadening properties.

The chassis legs have been developed to significantly reduce any unwanted vibration and employ a neoprene isolation layer on the base of each foot to further reduce noise and vibration. The feet are attached with stainless steel fixings that are torqued with vibration reduction effectiveness in mind.

The new Titan Audio Eros Mains Powerblock is priced at £750 retail inc. VAT and is available immediately. All products are manufactured in Northern Ireland.
