ANSUZ DARKZ RESONANCE CONTROL RELEASED

Ansuz Acoustics has just released their new Darkz resonance control units, the Ansuz Darkz S2T and Ansuz Darkz Signature Z2S.

Ansuz Darkz is a series of devices to mechanically ground all components in a high-end audio system. They are mechanically tuned to allow vibrations a path out of the component and to keep various components individually isolated. They can be used on all components including CD transports, turntables, DACs, amps and loudspeakers.

The Danish brand says that they have found that although the audio impact of titanium and zirconium shares some distinctive similarities, “the audio effect is definitely much more pronounced with the zirconium Darkz Signature Z2S”.

ANSUZ DARKZ SIGNATURE Z2S

The Ansuz Darkz Signature Z2S consists of three discs made of zirconium. Each of the upper two discs floats on three tungsten balls to handle and absorb vibrations.

The Ansuz Darkz Signature Z2S is further acoustically optimized by applying an Ansuz Supreme coating on each disc. This coating is applied to each of the zirconium discs in a HiPIMS (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering) PVD machine to create a fine and uniform layer of zirconium, tungsten and titanium, followed by a layer of titanium nitride. Finally, the discs have an outer layer of zirconium applied to them.

The junior version is the Ansuz S2T Darkz which is made of stainless steel and has titanium balls.

The Ansuz S2T Darkz are 640€ or $800 and the Signature Z2T are 3340€ or $4000 per piece.

There is also a Darkz adapter available to fit  Darkz to the factory fitted vibration feet of Aavik and Borresen products.
