REGA SATURN MK3 CD/DAC AVAILABLE

Rega has announced that the replacement for the Saturn-R is now available.

The Rega Saturn MK3 CD/DAC has a new case design to match the forthcoming, and all-new, Rega Elicit MK5 integrated amplifier.

The new Rega Saturn MK3 is re-housed in the brand’s very latest case designed to match the rest of the Rega range. The Saturn MK3 CD-DAC player offers flexibility and integration into any audio system. Essentially two products in one, the Saturn MK3 houses a high specification transport and independent DAC circuit featuring the Wolfson WM8742 DAC. Both sections are fully remote controllable via the supplied Solaris remote handset.

The circuit and functionality remain the same as the outgoing Saturn-R. However, Rega has refined the build process and introduced stricter production test and checks to improve reliability further.

CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS

There are plenty of connectivity options, up to and including 24bit-192kHz. The Saturn MK3 has two optical inputs, two Co-Axial inputs, a fully asynchronous USB and ‘direct’ digital output from the CD playback section. Rega says that the Saturn MK3 is the perfect partner for the forthcoming and all new Rega Elicit MK5 integrated amplifier.
