ARETAI CONTRA 100S STANDMOUNT LOUDSPEAKERS FEATURED AT AXPONA 2022
Designed for smaller and medium-sized rooms, the compact Aretai Contra 100S made an appearance at AXPONA last weekend.
We have been following this young Latvian loudspeaker brand since we first heard their speakers at the HiFi Deluxe show in Munich in 2019. Since then, they have gained Red Dot design awards for their speakers and, although the pandemic caused a global break in the HiFi Show calendar, Aretai have maintained their momentum and showed their standmount speakers at AXPONA 2022 with electronics by Benchmark and Aurrender. Plus they will be bringing their full Contra range to Munich next month.

ARETAI CONTRA 100S STANDMOUNT LOUDSPEAKERS
The Aretai Contra 100S is a 2.5-way, full range standmount/bookshelf loudspeaker with a bi-pole radiation pattern and sealed enclosure. The Contra 100S has two 6” drivers to deliver bass response down to 30Hz. Aretai deliberately designed a sealed enclosure to keep the bass tight. They have a distinctive custom-designed horn waveguide and a neodymium tweeter which delivers high frequencies up to 25kHz. The terminals are suitable for bi-amping.

This year at Munich Aretai will be at the MOC in Hall 4, U04/V01 and will be showcasing all three products from their Contra collection.
