HIGH END SWISS HIFI IN THE NETFLIX SPOTLIGHT

If you have been watching the new film releases on Netflix closely, you will have noticed two high-end Swiss brands putting in an appearance on screen recently.

SPIDERHEAD

Netflix film Spiderhead, directed by Joseph Kosinski, is an adaptation of George Saunders’ sci-fi short story “Escape from Spiderhead”, published in 2010. The story takes place in the not-so-distant future and features prisoners who volunteer as medical subjects in the hope of reducing their sentence. They become guinea pigs for new drugs that alter emotions and find themselves confronted with the demons of their past.

The film brings together a cast including Chris Hemsworth, Jurnee Smollett and Miles Teller, along with two high-end Swiss HiFi brands, Goldmund and CH Precision.

GOLMUND AND CH PRECISION

To create the futuristic sci-fi atmosphere of the film, set designer Nancy Mcllvaney, selected Goldmund loudspeakers for their cubist design and a set of Golmund Samadhi speakers and a Highsub Logos subwoofer feature in the high tech living quarters of the film’s star Chris Hemsworth. Keeping the system very Swiss, the featured electronics are from CH Precision, two M1.1 Power Amplifiers and an L1 Preamplifier.
