RDACOUSTIC SILENTMAX3D ACOUSTIC PANELS MADE FROM NEW, RECYCLED ACOUSTIC MATERIAL

RDacoustic of the Czech Republic has developed a new acoustic material that they call Silentmax.

Silentmax has been developed to be affordable and is a maintenance-free and flame retardant acoustic solution. It is made of fibres of recycled PET bottles, does not retain fumes or odours and is very easy to install. The material is fully certified for the EU market.

HOW DOES SILENTMAX WORK?

RDacoustic tells us that just as rocks in a river slow down the flow of water, Silentmax acoustic panels slow down acoustic energy. Acoustic energy spreads in space as waves. Silentmax acoustic panels absorb this energy very effectively. The internal density of Silentmax panels is optimized so that their acoustic absorption is as high as possible with their own thickness of 12 mm. The panels are partially breathable and the panels are designed to effectively absorb acoustic energy in a wide spectrum of audible frequencies.

STANDARD, ART AND 3D PANELS

The patented Silentmax material can be made into a 3D pattern, an acoustic image panel, where the material is printed with a picture of your choice through a process that retains the acoustic properties, or a simple panel in different shapes which is the most affordable solution for schools, restaurants and other public spaces.

They are antistatic against dust and practically maintenance-free. They can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner either dry or wet. They are light, breathable, vapour permeable and chemically resistant. The simple panels can be attached to the wall by hanging, using corner strips, Velcro, glueing or anchoring with spacer screws. They are attached to the ceiling by glueing or using suspension cables.

SILENTMAX3D ACOUSTIC PANELS

You can assemble the Silentmax3D acoustic panel yourself, quickly and easily. Segments are cut from Silentmax acoustic panels, you create the Silentmax3D pattern by simply inserting the pieces into the wooden ridges.

The acoustic absorption surface is the sum of all the surfaces of the individual segments of the Silentmax3D acoustic panel. In total, its absorption surface is 2.5 times larger than its height x width.
