THE AUDIO TECHNICA SOUND BURGER WILL BE BACK IN SPRING/SUMMER 2023
Last November, to celebrate its 60th anniversary, Audio Technica released a limited-edition of its Sound Burger portable turntable, forty years after its first appearance on the market.
The brand says that they never imagined the response this release was going to provoke and the £199.99/229€ Limited Edition AT-SB2022 Retro Red Sound Burger sold out within days.

Inspired by this response and having heard feedback from fans who were unable to purchase the limited edition model and are still “hungry” for Sound Burger, Audio Technica has announced that the Sound Burger will be back in Spring/Summer 2023.
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
“The response to the limited edition 60th anniversary of the Sound Burger portable turntable was absolutely amazing,” said Gary Boss, Chief Marketing Officer of Audio-Technica US. ” We heard the frustration of those who hoped to be able to buy one of these turntables, but were unable to do so. Although the new model that will be released in spring/summer 2023 will not have of the serial number, colour and packaging of the 60th anniversary limited edition, it will be well more widely accessible. We hope Sound Burger fans will be just as interested in this new model and that it will inspire the new generation of enthusiasts of analogue”.
