A new audio industry sales and marketing company, Nexus Audio Technologies has been created by HiFi Industry veteran Walter Schofield.

The select group of independent, High End HiFi brands is comprised at launch of Alta Audio, Infigo Audio, Primare, and STENHEIM.

The new company capitalizes on Walter’s extensive experience working on behalf of audio designers and manufacturers who represent the best of what the HiFi and Home Cinema market has to offer. Walter Schofield, who serves as Nexus Audio’s President, tells us that created the company to “bring audiophile-grade, exquisitely designed speakers and electronics to high-net-worth consumers ready to invest in whatever it takes to satisfy their passion for music and home theatre systems”.

Beginning this month, Nexus Audio Technologies will represent four audio companies in the role of North American Brand Manager. The inaugural Nexus partner list includes:

Alta Audio: Led by audio designer Michael Levy, Alta Audio specializes in speakers that combine unparalleled aesthetics with proprietary technology.

Infigo Audio: A Canadian company that designs and manufactures amplifiers, DACs, and cables.

Primare AB: Based in Sweden, Primare designs and produces Scandinavian designed and built two- and multichannel components.

STENHEIM Suisse SA: Stenheim speakers, high end loudspeakers from Switzerland.

In his role as North American Brand Manager, Walter will oversee sales and marketing programs for all four brands in the U.S. And Canada, including all aspects of press relations, materials development, social media, and more. To that end, Nexus is partnering with Sohmer Associates, LLC, a boutique public relations/marketing communications agency based in NYC.
