NEW USB A TO USB C PURPLE RAIN CABLE FROM POLISH HIFI BRAND MELODIKA

Melodika, a Polish HiFi brand known for producing cables, HiFi speakers, and installation speakers, has introduced its latest cable, the Melodika MDUAC Purple Rain USB A to C DAC Cable.

Melodika says that by replacing the factory-supplied cable of audio equipment like a DAC with the Melodika MDUAC cable, users can “enhance the quality of the transmitted signal, minimise jitter, eliminate timing faults, and reduce distortions that may occur in the digital signal”.

Featuring a symmetrical USB-C connector, the Melodika MDUAC cable facilitates stable and convenient connections with various peripheral devices such as DACs. The MDUAC cable supports Quick Charge technology, adding to its versatility. Its heavy-duty purple outer PVC insulation is UV-resistant, alcohol-resistant, and says Melodika, exhibits excellent impact strength, making it suitable for installations in different environments.

CABLE CONSTRUCTION

The Melodika Purple Rain MDUAC cable features two pairs of twisted wires (4x 0.2mm2), one for data transmission and the other for power. The data transmission line is shielded separately. The triple shielding, consisting of two Mylar foil layers and a tin-plated copper braid, further reduces electrical noise and electromagnetic interference while preventing crosstalk between adjacent wires. To ensure high-quality connections, the cable features 24K gold-plated connectors and precise soldering using premium silver-copper solder.

The Melodika Purple Rain MDUAC cable is labelled with the MDUAC symbol, where “U” represents USB, and AC denotes the type of connectors used (USB-A/USB-C). The numbers following this symbol indicate the cable length, ranging from 0.3 to 7 meters. For example, a 2.5m cable will have the symbol MDUAC25. The pricing varies depending on the length of the cable.
