FIND OUT WHAT YOU CAN SEE AND HEAR AT THE UK HIFI SHOW LIVE THIS WEEKEND

Here is our final preview of what you can expect from this weekend’s High End HiFi extravaganza, The UK HiFi Show Live 2023, at Ascot.

CHORD ELECTRONICS

Chord’s ULTIMA Integrated will be showcased at The UK HiFi Show Live alongside a selection of other Chord models. They will be in suites 234 and 235 with Magico and Innuos completing the system.

SCV DISTRIBUTION

For the 2023 edition of UK HiFi Show Live, SCV will be demonstrating the latest innovations from their flagship home audio brands across three specially curated listening spaces.

IsoAcoustics Room (649-650) will host the IsoAcoustics’ hugely popular and fantastically revealing GAIA A/B demo. This year SCV will be demonstrating two identical sets of Triangle 40th Anniversary Antal floor-standing speakers, one fitted with IsoAcoustics GAIA isolators, and one with standard factory-fitted spikes. Using a simple switching system, visitors can quickly toggle to hear the difference GAIA can make

Both sets of speakers will be powered in turn by the Californian-made Stingray integrated tube amplifier from Manley Labs, using IsoTek V5 Sigmas power-cleaning mains cabling.

In room 651-652 SCV will be exhibiting two Cello floor-standers from Triangle’s flagship Magellan 40th Anniversary range. Driving these will be two all-tube Snapper monoblocks and a Steelhead tube preamplifier and phono stage from Manley, with both streaming and vinyl deck sources available. Power to all components will be provided by IsoTek systems cabling and an EVO3 Mosaic Genesis mains conditioner.

On hand for expert product advice and support, SCV are delighted to be joined by four home audio industry VIPs from across distributed brands including Jean-Baptiste Lierre of Manley Labs, Bjorn Hegelstad of IsoTek, Elodie Deveau of Triangle and Paul Morrison of IsoAcoustics.

SCV IN THE PANORAMIC HEADPHONE AREA

In partnership with Hifonix, SCV are exhibiting the finest HeadFi tools from manufacturers including Meze Audio, Manley Labs, EarMen, Empire Ears and Benchmark.

Meze’s 109 PRO, Liric, Empyrean and flagship Elite models will be available for testing alongside Empire Ears’ latest in-ear monitors including Odin, Legend EVO, and newly released Raven model.

From SCV’s range of Headfi amplification components, they will present the all-tube Manley Absolute Headphone Amplifier with all-triode/single-ended switching technology, the HPA4 and DAC3 HGC from Benchmark and the ST-Amp and EISA award-winning Stack models from EarMen.

BOYER

In the Ascot Grandstand’s second floor ‘Long Box’, distributor Boyer will showcase the Engström Arne 300B tube amplifier plus Kroma Atelier’s Stella Xtreme floorstanders. Boyer will also have the world launch of Esoteric’s K-05XD ‘ultimate SACD player’, the first UK showing of the Atlantis Reference DAC from Spain’s Wadax and Altaira noise reduction tech from Shunyata.

LOWTHER

As well as bringing its flagship TP2 corner horn speaker to the UK HiFi Show Live, Lowther will debut the Edilia a floorstander with adjustable bass optimisation.

CADENCE DISTRIBUTION

Cadence Distribution will be overlooking Ascot’s Parade Ring on Level 2. Visitors will be able to see and hear SME’s Model 60 turntable and Series VA tonearm in action Their system will also feature Aurender’s flagship W20SE and N30SA music library/servers, Nagra’s HD PREAMP and monoblock HD AMPs and the Siltech Symphony loudspeaker system, presented by Edwin and Gabi Rynveld.

NODE AUDIO

Node are exhibiting at The UK HiFi Show Live 2023, they will be demonstrating HYLIXA with two separate systems and also have an exciting new product launch to show you. They will be in rooms 408 & 409.

KARMA AV

UK distributor Karma AV will also showcase several new UK HiFi Show premiers at Ascot including the Perlisten S7t Limited Edition speaker, with radiused Carbon Fibre over HDF side panels and hand-picked crossover and driver components, each Limited Edition speaker pair has been matched to 0.5dB, and numbered, signed and personalised.

The second UK Show Premiere is the MoFi MasterDeck, MasterPhono, SourcePoint 8 and 10 speakers. Karma’s third UK Show Premiere is the System Audio Silverback 1 from Denmark, a new wireless active speaker. Their fourth UK Show Premiere is the SVS Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase smart amplifier.
