Exclusively unveiled at IFA 2015, the global trade show for consumer electronics, the Pioneer “XDP-100R” Digital Audio Player becomes the industry’s first portable player to offer MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) support.

Setting out to make its ‘best-ever audio player’, Pioneer equips the XDP-100R with support for up to 288GB storage (32GB internal + dual micro SD), and arms it with ESS Technology’s ES9018K2M SABRE DAC and SABRE 9601K amplifier. Furthermore, its internal design enables sufficient space to allow separation of the DAC/AMP and CPU circuit boards, so isolating audio circuitry from unwanted noise, and helping maximise performance levels.
