Narrowband Absorber Company At NWAS 2024 North West Audio Show 2024

The Narrowband Absorber Company Ltd will be bringing their Portable Variable Acoustic Devices, or P:VAD for short, to the North West Audio Show 2024.

NARROWBAND ABSORBER COMPANY P:VAD

These portable acoustic devices are designed to absorb low frequency sound down to 63/80Hz depending on the number and/or the positioning of the devices in the room or space being used for listening or recording. Additionally, the manufacturer says that they provide diffusion from 630Hz upwards, and again, depending on their positioning and orientation, they can be catered to the room’s conditions.

UNIVERSITY OF SALFORD

The devices have been both absorption and diffusion tested at the University of Salford in their acoustic facilities to international standards (ISO 354:2003 and ISO 17497-2:2012 respectively) with further absorption testing at Soundhub in Denmark.
