MARANTZ HORIZON AND MARANTZ GRAND HORIZON WIRELESS SPEAKERS LAUNCHED
For over 70 years, Marantz has been producing high-performance audio products, now they are expanding their range into the wireless speaker category with the Marantz Horizon And Marantz Grand Horizon Wireless Speakers.
MARANTZ HORIZON AND MARANTZ GRAND HORIZON WIRELESS SPEAKERS
Marantz has unveiled two new wireless speaker systems, the Horizon and Grand Horizon. These models incorporate signature Marantz elements, such as the circular porthole motif, reimagined as the core of their sleek design. Both speakers offer an elegant aesthetic, enhanced by lighting and premium materials, providing a tactile audio experience that appeals to sight, sound, and touch.
RECYCLED OCEAN PLASTICS
The Horizon and Grand Horizon are wrapped in sustainable Marantz Radiance fabric, made from recycled ocean plastics. This eco-friendly fabric, available in three colours—Midnight Sky, Moon Ray, and Marantz Champagne—features gold lurex threads for a luxurious finish. Each speaker comes with a natural marble base, colour-matched to complement its design. Optional accessories include a walnut tripod stand for the Horizon and wall brackets for both models.
DRIVERS AND AMPLIFICATION
Both Horizon and Grand Horizon deliver full-range sound through a combination of high-frequency and midrange drivers radiating outward from a central subwoofer. Horizon features a 165mm subwoofer, two 25mm tweeters, and three 50mm full-range drivers, while the larger Grand Horizon is equipped with a 200mm subwoofer, three 25mm tweeters, and four 76mm midrange drivers. The speakers are powered by Marantz Rise amplification, with the Horizon offering 310W and the Grand Horizon 370W, ensuring impressive performance even in large rooms.
DSP
Users can customise their listening experience through the Marantz Mirage DSP, accessible via the HEOS app. This digital signal processing allows for adjustments to clarity, warmth, and spaciousness. Additionally, Sound Master mode lets listeners experience audio as envisioned by Marantz Sound Master Yoshinori Ogata.
Both speakers feature proximity sensors that activate when approached, revealing controls through Marantz AuraControl. A touch-sensitive ring around the subwoofer adjusts volume, with subtle LED indicators displaying the chosen level.
CONNECTIVITY
Fully equipped for modern connectivity, Horizon and Grand Horizon integrate Marantz’s HEOS platform, supporting streaming services like Spotify, TIDAL, and Amazon Music. Apple AirPlay2, Bluetooth, and physical inputs such as analogue, optical, and HDMI, are also available. Both models support Dolby Atmos via HDMI and can be paired with other HEOS-enabled products for multiroom setups or paired together for a two-speaker system.
